The khutba, in the congregation’s own languages.

Khutba Now translates the khutba as it is spoken, onto the venue’s screens and worshippers’ phones. No app, no sign-up.

اللهم إنا نعوذ بك من الفتن ما ظهر منها وما بطن ما علمنا منها وما لم نعلم.

O Allah, we seek refuge in You from trials, whether apparent or hidden, what we know of them and what we do not know.

اے اللہ! ہم تجھ سے فتنوں سے پناہ مانگتے ہیں، جو ظاہر ہوں اور جو چھپے ہوں، جو ہم نے جانا اور جو ہم نہیں جانتے۔

How it works

  1. The khateeb presses Start

A microphone clips on, and one button starts the translation.

  2. The screens follow

The khutba appears on the venue’s screens, translated as it is spoken.

  3. Worshippers follow on their phones

They scan the QR code and choose their language.

13 languages, and counting

Each shown in its own script.

Quran verses, handled with care

When a verse is recognised, Khutba Now shows a published translation of it, word for word. Verses are never machine-translated.

Screens on. Mic on. Start.

That is all it takes on the day.

Privacy and trust

  • No audio is kept

The khateeb’s voice is never recorded or stored.

  • Nothing asked of worshippers

No account and no personal data.

  • Honest about AI

The translation is done by AI and can make mistakes. Quran verses use published translations.

The same live translation works wherever Arabic is spoken to an audience.
